To big for my boots.

Well I lost my first ship for a while yesterday. While patrolling around low-sec I spotted a Caracal ratting in a belt. The pilot wasn't too long in the tooth and so armed with my trusty Rifter I zoomed in on him. I think it all when wrong when I knocked my AB off due to my cap getting low. His missiles did the trick in the end and my AR couldn't keep up with the damage and I only managed to dint his shields. This surprised me a little as I was under the impression that the Caracal was a bit of a dream target for a fast ship like the Rifter. I will put it down to bad piloting and bad ammo selection.
The pilot did however say it was the toughest Rifter he'd been up against so I didn't feel too bad.

I better go and find myself another ship I guess. :o)
